Major Grant Proposal at WU Vienna

A proposal for a major grant, provided by the Austrian Science foundation FWF (8 million Euro) was submitted, by Günter Stahl (WU Vienna) as the principal investigator. The proposed research program would bring together an interdisciplinary network of scholars to investigate what drives and hinders the transition to more sustainable and responsible patterns of managerial decision-making and behavior and, concomitantly, the evolution towards more sustainable business models, corporate practices and ways of organizing in multinational corporations. Researchers connected with GOLDEN contributed to the development of the proposal by leveraging some of the GOLDEN ideas on studying organisational evolution towards sustainability through field and lab experiments at the individual and organisational levels, and will lead one of the nine subprojects (entitled: “Integrating sustainability in strategic decision-making and core business processes”), if funds will be provided.
